Using htaccess for Specifed Directories

On a very immense locality we have some distressingly installed directories in which record listing is desired. I’ve created an .htaccess record and drafted sincerely: Options +Indexes

According to the Apache doc that should cause that binder and any sub-folders to detail their ingredients in a web spider. But I still get a Off Limits message.

Permissions on the binder are unmistaken and specified files within can be hit, but the record listing just won’t wallop in.

I do have “Allow Overrides using .htaccess files” checked but not “Allow Binder Listing”. That would all seem unmistaken.

And I’ve done restarts after accomplishing changes.

So?
